Air-dry your gloves after every session with the cuffs open. Wipe the leather with a damp cloth, use glove deodorisers, and always wear hand wraps to keep the lining fresh. Never dry on a heater.

What size boxing gloves should I buy?

Most adults use 12–14oz for bag and pad work and 16oz for sparring. Use the weight guide above for your bodyweight.

Lace-up or Velcro – which is better?

Lace-up gives the tightest, most secure fit and is preferred for sparring and fights. Velcro (hook-and-loop) is faster to put on without help, ideal for training alone.
