Ordering a sparring set means choosing three sizes. Measure once, carefully, and everything will fit.
Step 1: Glove weight
Choose by bodyweight and use – most adults spar in 16oz. Full table: boxing glove size chart.
Step 2: Headgear size
Wrap a soft tape around your head just above the eyebrows and ears.
| Size | Head circumference |
|---|---|
| S | 52–55 cm |
| M | 55–58 cm |
| L | 58–61 cm |
| XL | 61–64 cm |
Step 3: Groin guard size
Measure around your waist where the guard’s belt will sit.
| Size | Waist |
|---|---|
| S | 66–76 cm / 26–30 in |
| M | 76–86 cm / 30–34 in |
| L | 86–97 cm / 34–38 in |
| XL | 97–107 cm / 38–42 in |
Between sizes?
Go up for headgear if you wear it over braids or thick hair; go down for the groin guard if you prefer a snug fit. More help: measuring for headgear and sizing a groin guard.
